Leadership

SGA Report presented to Board of Visitors meeting in November
My leadership skills have grown significantly through my involvement in Orientation and Student Government. As an Orientation Coordinator, I played a key role in building and coordinating comprehensive training schedules, delegating tasks based on individual strengths, and supervising a team of twenty two Orientation Leaders. I ensured they felt supported and prepared to create a positive and welcoming experience for more than a thousand incoming students. Through this role, I learned how to manage large-scale logistics while still prioritizing the well-being and success of each team member.
As Student Government President, I led my Executive board and supervised the Senate, overseeing initiatives, organizing meetings, and facilitating productive communication between students and university administration. I consistently work to empower members to contribute confidently and to make decisions that reflect the broader student body’s needs.
These leadership experiences have strengthened my ability to guide others, remain organized under pressure, and foster a motivated, purpose-driven team.
